Prosciutto & Pastry Wrapped Asparagus

Recipe of the Week:

  • Lg. Bunch of Fresh Asparagus (med. sized stalks)
  • 1 block Cream Cheese
  • 1 Sheet Puff Pastry (thawed)
  • Prosciutto
  • Italian Seasoning

13069 - Prosciutto & Pastry Wrapped Asparagus

This unusual eye-catching hors d’ oeuvre is delicious and will certainly be an attention-getter at your event. Well worth the time it takes to prepare them.

Clip woody end off of asparagus stalk to about 5”- 6”
Mix small amount (to taste) of Italian Seasoning into
softened Cream Cheese & spread thin layer onto Pastry Sheet
Spread layer of Prosciutto onto Cream Cheese
Cut thin strips w. pizza cutter and wrap asparagus spears
Bake on parchment in preheated oven at 400* for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let sit 5-10 minutes before plating.
