THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Dec. 20, 2019 – From magicians to marionettes, The Woodlands Children’s Museum is packing the weeks of winter break with an eclectic mix of child-friendly live entertainment.
“Families are invited to join us during winter vacation to play and laugh together, share special moments and make memories they’ll cherish for a lifetime,” Executive Director Angela Colton said.
This month’s entertainment line-up begins with Noah the Juggler, who will delight audiences with his interactive, child-friendly shows Friday, Dec. 20.
Children can have their faces painted at the museum Saturday, Dec. 21.
Professional juggler Claude Sims will perform Monday, Dec. 23. Not only is Sims a master of juggling, he also informs and expresses ideas during his shows.
Musician Joe McDermott is scheduled to perform Friday, Dec. 27.McDermott, also known as the “Maestro of Imagination,” performs original and classic children’s songs.
The Jean Kuecher Marionette Puppet Playhouse will appear Saturday, Dec. 28. Jean Kuecher, puppeteer and producer of the playhouse, has thrilled audiences worldwide with quality entertainment. Her abilities as marionette builder, scriptwriter, costume and scene designer, and master performer combine to create a program that entertains, educates and stirs the imagination.
Also scheduled is fan favorite Monty the Magician, who combines feats of wonder with warmth and humor.His shows are set forMonday, Dec. 30.

Winter vacation activities are included in the museum’s regular $7 admission price for visitors age 1 and older.
