THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Nov. 19, 2018 – Children can get pointers from Mrs. Claus herself during gingerbread house workshops at The Woodlands Children’s Museum this holiday season.
Mrs. Claus’ Gingerbread House Workshops invite children to channel their creative sides as they transform graham crackers, candy and frosting into architectural masterpieces, and fashion holiday-themed keepsakes.
The workshops will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday. Dec. 21 and Saturday, Dec. 22.
“These workshops are wonderful opportunities for children to let their imaginations soar as they envision, build and embellish their gingerbread houses,” said Angela Colton, executive director of the museum. “The presence of Mrs. Claus, who makes a point of visiting with and encouraging little builders individually, makes the day all the more magical.”
Each workshop is $5 in addition to the museum’s $6 admission for visitors age 1 and older.
The Woodlands Children’s Museum is recommended for ages 7 and younger. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
