Montgomery County Choral Society Prepares for Spectacular Season — Part placement events scheduled through Aug. 6

CONROE, Texas – The Montgomery County Choral Society will hold member singing/vocal placements at the First Methodist Conroe Choir Room 4308 W. Davis St.  Conroe, TX 77304.

Artistic Director Heather Orr will hear members for optimal SATB (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) placements prior to the first rehearsal, scheduled for Aug. 20, with slots at 5-minute intervals on the following dates and times:

  • Tuesday, July 31, 2018; 7-9PM
  • Wednesday, August 1, 2018; 6-9PM
  • Thursday, August 2, 2018; 6-9PM
  • Monday, August 6, 2018 6-9PM

The Montgomery County Choral Society is a nonprofit organization formed in 1972. The purpose of the organization is: “To unite singers who celebrate their love of music and share the joy of music through professional quality performances and community outreach.”  Membership averages around 70 singers including young adults to retired persons, representing varied professions and blending many levels of musical training and experience.
