THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Spider-Man and Wonder Woman will appear at The Woodlands Children’s Museum on Friday, Aug. 3, in honor of Super Hero Day.
Visitors are invited to dress in their favorite super hero costume that day, which also will feature a special Super Reader Storybook Theatre, a “decorate your own cape” art project and a special backdrop where small caped crusaders can pose for pictures.
“Imitating super heroes is a great way for children to flex their creative muscles,” said Angela Colton, executive director of the museum. “It also increases children’s confidence – and it’sfun. We’re looking forward to spending the day with all of our friendly neighborhood super heroes.”
Super Hero Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 3 at 4774 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280.
Spider-Man will meet with children and pose for pictures in the stage area from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Wonder Woman will participate in meet-and-greets at 10 and 11 a.m.
In addition, Ms. Jan will present Super Reader Storybook Theatre at 11 a.m.
Super Hero Day activities are included in the museum’s regular daily admission, which is $6 for visitors age 1 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The Woodlands Children’s Museum is recommended for ages 7 and younger.
