Shared commitment to safe, fun learning environment brings businesses together
THE WOODLANDS, Texas – March 27, 2018 – The Woodlands Children’s Museum is delighted to announce the support of RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring as a continuing sponsor of the museum’s Playhouse Exhibit. One of the original exhibits at the museum, the Playhouse is enjoyed by thousands of young visitors each year. Inside the Playhouse, children can exercise their creativity and imagination using play food, dishes, furniture and other hands-on materials.
“The Playhouse offers children a chance to develop their fine and gross motor skills, utilize abstract thinking, and provides a fun, interactive environment for socialization. These are important skills for early childhood learning and we are delighted that RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring is partnering with us once again to help maintain this beloved exhibit,” said Angela Colton, executive director of The Woodlands Children’s Museum.
Brian W. Parker, owner of RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring said sponsoring the museum’s Playhouse is a natural fit for the real estate brokerage.
“Sponsoring the Playhouse at the museum fits right in with our core business; finding the perfect family home,” he said. “With 100-plus agents in our office we get to meet thousands of families each year and welcome this opportunity to continue to serve them after the sale has closed.”
The experts at RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring recognize the importance of safety and regular home maintenance. Through their sponsorship, the museum will be able to add fresh paint to the interior and exterior of the Playhouse; repair the roof and entryways as needed; maintain cabinetry and countertops; clean and disinfect surfaces on a regular basis; and restock food, cookware and tea sets that help support imaginative play.
“We are happy to play a part in providing this safe, fun learning environment for the children in our community,” said Danna Furnace-Grimes, director of agent services and relocation director at RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring.
Daily admission to The Woodlands Children’s Museum is $6 for adults and children ages 1 and older. Recommended for ages 7 and under, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The Woodlands Children’s Museum is located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, in the Panther Creek Village Shopping Center. For more information or to view a calendar of upcoming events, visit woodlandschildrensmuseum.org.
