Young Bakers-In-Training

Do you have an aspiring baker in your household? Bring your child to Panera Bread and let the flour fly! Baking bread is not only their specialty, but their passion.

Bakers in Training

Panera’s Bakers-In-Training program is a great way to get kids interested in kitchen essentials and the fundamentals of baking. Designed for children ages 5–12, Bakers-In-Training walks children through a Panera Bread bakery-cafe while teaching the basics of baking.

In this fun-filled culinary experience, they’ll outfit your children with their own baking hat and apron, then let them try their hand at the craft of bread making by stretching and scoring their very own French baguette to be baked and brought home. They’ll also decorate their own sugar cookie with tips from artisan bakers.

Made for groups of 10–15, this is a great activity for your class, scout group, kids club or child’s birthday party.

To register a group for one of the Bakers-in-Training classes, fill in the form found here. After you complete the online form, Panera will contact you to finalize the details, and provide you with a parental permission slip for each child to bring with them to class.
