When you mix it up with home-cooked foods, handcrafted candles with their wonderfully fragrant blends of spices, homemade soaps just like they did back in colonial times, and a variety of crafted items made by community artisans, you’re sure to bring in the crowds, and today’s event was no exception.
Hundreds of area residents turned out this morning for the first Woodforest Farmers Market at the Homefinder Lodge on Elk Trace Parkway between The Woodlands and Lake Conroe, and discovered multitudes of items they just couldn’t do without.
The success of this inaugural event will surely continue as the Market will be held the third Sunday of each month. If you missed it today, mark your calendar! Next month’s event is set for Oct. 20.
