June 1, 2013 — The weather was humid and hot … well over 90 degrees! But the shady trees and gentle breeze, combined with homemade, handmade, and homegrown products, and the music of Lou Crete & the Texas Buckaroos made the Lone Star First Saturday – Montgomery Farmers Market a great event.
Local gardeners and growers, canners, cooks, bakers, crafters and creators, bring their seasonal produce, baked and canned goods, honey and much more to the heart of the historical district in Montgomery the first Saturday of each month. This monthly event always attracts large crowds and provides a great opportunity for local artisans to display and sell their wares.
This event is organized by Sunshine Farm. Call 936-648-6145 for information, or visit their website at: www.goodcleanlivin.com.
Be sure to take a look at our photos of the fun.
